The Redeployment Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) is a collaboration between WSG and Supply Chain and Logistics Academy that helps individuals re-train their skill set to remain relevant in their current organization.

​By providing financial support, the programme also helps employers defray the cost of retraining loyal employees and retain effective talent.

How will companies benefit?

  1. WSG offers more than 100 PCPs to support PMETs in career conversion. They are developed in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders such as Sectoral Agencies and Industry Partners. The PCPs offered span across the six main clusters
  2. under the 23 Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs). New PCPs will also be introduced over time through our continued partnership with our partners. In addition, WSG also offers company-specific Redeployment PCPs to support employers in their business transformation plans
  3. The Redeployment PCPs allow employers to retain, reskill, and redeploy existing employees (whose jobs are being phased out) into new growth jobs4 within the same companies.

Program Construct

All Singaporean Citizens/Permanent Residents who are:

  • Current employees whose jobs are affected by the company’s transformation and may be at-risk of skills redundancy or experience risk of retrenchment.
  • Both PMETs and Rank-And-File employees are applicable

#No. of workers needed for this job role/department will be decreased due to enterprisetransformation

*Job level and salary should not be lower thanprevious

^Company should provide an increment that commensurate the new role / responsibility if applicable

Are there training classes for my employee in the Redeployment PCP?

There are no training classes for employees. The redeployment PCP is meant to assist employers retain employees by retraining them into new roles.
